Some walk notes have accurate miniature traces of the walk. Helpful when starting to read-though the notes, but trivial.
Some tracks have been prepared on transparent A4 sheets at the scale of the map. These are overlaid on the map. Liked by users but very difficult to post without damage. Not very useful in the field.

Store files on a central computer and mail these out for leaders to load on to their GPS units. This has a steep learning curve and requires much patient organisation. A commercial non-starter?
The new leaders’ website already has the functionality to upload GPX files onto it which can be downloaded by leaders leading that particular tour. Leaders who understand it can use it.
We are hoping one day to get the walks on to micro-SD cards. It will require a suitable GPS.
